Description

From Ephesians 3:20–21, it is executed in 6th Century Roman Half-uncial script on 18” x 24” Strathmore. This beige-colored paper is characteristically reminiscent of sheepskin, similar to that used in lettering the ancient writs in the early centuries.

Rendered in alabaster white, blues, browns, gold leaf, greens, and sepia India inks. On the right side is a 2” x 20” painting depicting 'heavenly' flowers with liquid gold centers, softly veiled in white-on-white overlays, creating a luminous and ethereal presentation.

The artwork is slightly raised on thin foam board and mounted on a marbleized golden mat, styled in the tradition of displaying antiquities. It is encased with a mildly ornate gold and black wooden 22” x 28” frame. Completed with a Museum Glass covering to accentuate and preserve the piece’s fine details.
