From Joshua 1:8, 9: Executed in 6th Century Roman Half-uncial script on 18” x 24” Strathmore. This beige-colored paper is characteristically reminiscent of sheepskin, similar to that used in early Anno Domini (A.D.), 1st–8th century ancient scrolls.
Done in alabaster white, black, blue, brown, gold leaf, grass green, iridescent blue, crimson red, sepia, and sun yellow India inks; and Titanium white with blue acrylics.
To the right of the piece is a 2” x 20” panel–painting in 7 ‘mini-sections’ focusing on the owner’s interests:
Section 1: ‘The Cross’ and a ‘storm–like’ sky symbolizing Good Friday, the day Jesus died
Section 2: ‘Football’
Section 3: ‘The Core’, a Fellowship of Christian Athletes term that titles the following images:
Section 4: “God loves you”
Section 5: “Sin separates you”
Section 6: “Jesus rescues you”
Section 7: “Will you trust Jesus?” Josh answered, “Yes!”
There is also a painting of a Lacrosse Stick in the lower left.
The piece is double-bevel matted in ‘Green Bay Packer’ green and yellow, and encased by a double-pine wooden frame that is 22” x 28,” accenting the owner’s favorite design motifs.
